Michael Bell to attend Toronto TransformersCon

March 22nd, 2007 - Toronto TransformersCon is Canada's largest annual Transformers toy convention, and will be held for the 6th time on April 27th and 28th, 2007. This year's attractions include special guest Michael Bell, a veteran voice actor with 50 years experience in television, movies, and video games. Michael Bell is known to children of the 80s as the voices of Prowl, Sideswipe, Swoop, Bombshell, Scrapper, First Aid, and Brainstorm in Transformers, the voice of Duke in G.I. Joe, Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk, Lazy, Grouchy, Handy Smurf, and Johan in The Smurfs, and the voices of Lance and Sven in Voltron: Defender of the Universe. Bell is also well known for his various roles on Star Trek. He guest starred in the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode Encounter at Farpoint as Bandi administrator Groppler Zorn and in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "The Homecoming" (as a Bajoran) and "The Maquis.". In addition, he can be further recognized as the voice of Drew Pickles (Angelica's dad), Chaz Finster (Chuckie's dad), and Boris (Didi's father), from the Rugrats and All Grown Up! series. At the Toronto TransformersCon, in his first Canadian convention appearance, Michael Bell will be participating in a live script reading with fans, a question and answer panel, and an autograph and photograph session. Also scheduled to attend Toronto TransformersCon 2007 is adept comic book artist Alex Milne. He is known by Transformers fans for his work on Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye, Energon #26-30 (as well as the unreleased Energon issue #31), box art for Alternators Jazz and Grimlock, select pencils for Dawn Of Future's Past: The Beast Wars Prequel Graphic Novel and the G.I. Joe vs. Transformers: The Art of War miniseries. Milne is currently working on the official Transformers Movie Comic Adaptation, as well as the upcoming Transformers Generation 1 Megatron Origin miniseries for IDW publishing.

A TFCon Toronto Exclusive WST G2 Flamethrower toy will be available at Toronto TransformersCon, and is limited to only 500 pieces. A lithograph featuring original artwork by Alex Milne will also be available in limited quantities at the convention. It is tentatively titled "An Alternated Masterpiece" and will present an original battle scene with characters never before depicted in this way.

Toronto TransformersCon is Canada's biggest Transformers Convention, and one of the greatest attended Transformers conventions in the world.
