As you may be aware there was a Victorian State Election being held on the same weekend as our original Oz Comic-Con Melbourne Xmas Edition event dates. While our event booking predates the election announcement, while the Melbourne Showgrounds acts as the election tally room it will not permit any parking on the grounds and the trains to and from the Showground will be limited. The venue have advised they believe this clash will not support the best possible visitor experience.
With all these aspects in mind and their potential impact on our event delivery and the overall event accessibility and attendee experience, we have made the decision to shift the event back to the next available date with the Showground, December 10 & 11, 2022.
