GICC 2017 was a two-day event previously held between the 5th and the 6th of May with a special game on the evening prior to official opening of the event on May the 4th. The convention hosted science fiction and fantasy related film, as well as television programmes and a larger range of pop culture and entertainment elements across virtually all genres, including horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics and fantasy novels (amongst many other things).
